The meeting was called to order at 5:00pm by Rita Furlong, Chair.
I. Review and Approval of August 31, 2009 Meeting Minutes with minor edits
II. Task Force Members’ individual (volunteered) research discussed:
- Paul Campbell: Affordable Housing
- Joshua Lombard: Economic Development
- Zina Jayne: Community Services and Facilities
- Meredyth Babcock: Economic Development, Natural Resources, Open Space and Recreation
- Madeleine Swindelhurst: Senior Housing and Accessory Apartment By-law
- Rita Furlong: Land Use and Management
- Sandy Sayward: Community services and Facilities
III. Sub-Committee named to outline Goals and Action Steps:
- Tony Blair suggested that a sub-committee meet to write the goals and Action steps to be taken, based on all prior input received from residents and task force Members. Rita Furlong, Zina Jayne, Patricia Mullins and Tony Blair agree to meet on Wednesday, Sept. 16 to draft the Goals and action steps
IV. Schedule of Meetings
Task Force members agreed to meet next at 5:00pm on Monday, Sept. 21 and to schedule the Sept. 28 meeting at 7:00pm instead of 5:00pm.
